PLIDCO® Flange+Repair Ring is used for leak sealing on leaking flange, on stream. Steel GirderRing holds the circumferential seals in place and protects them from displacement and damage during installation, thus perfectly seal the flange joint all around its circumference. Once the Flange+Repair Ring is fitted over the flange joint, the sealant is pumped by a filling gun through the fittings into the space between the ring and the flange to seal the flange leak.
PLIDCO® Flange+Repair Ring is manufactured as standard for flanges ranging from DN15 (1/2”) to DN300 (12”) and for pressure classes from PN20 (ASME class 150) to PN100 (ASME class 600). The maximum operating temperature for standard PLIDCO® Flange+Repair Ring is +371 °C. Flange Repair Rings for larger diameter and higher pressure or higher temperature are on request.
A wide range of sealants which seal the entire flange joint with screws on various products even at high temperatures is available.
The repair is very quick. PLIDCO® Flange+Repair Ring can be installed by your own personnel. There is no drilling or altering of flange required, thus it does not damage the original flange. On a scheduled turnaround PLIDCO® Flange+Repair Ring can be reconditioned and used again.
