PLIDCO® Split+Repair TEE is a mechanical steel split sleeve (tee clamp) used to repair pipeline leak and weld repair at a branch connection on the main pipeline. When a leak is detected on a branch connection, it is possible to design and manufacture a special sleeve (tee clamp) precisely to repair the leaking point. When a welded joint on a connected pipe breaks, the sleeve is designed to withstand any potential bending stresses from the branch pipe connection.
The sleeves are easy to install on in-service pipe without shutdown. If necessary, the fitting can also be additionally welded to the pipe without shutdown.
