Check Seal™ 357P Black Stem Pak is a non-curing pumpable packing that contains a blend of non-asbestos fibers in synthetic oils. It works great on valve packing and wire wrap fugitive emission repairs, and is specifically designed for high temperature hydrocarbon service up to +398°C. It is pumpable with a high pressure lubrication hand gun.
Applications : glycols, hydrocarbons, water, steam boiler feed water and many solvents; Good general purpose, high temperature valve packing

Temperature range : -40°C to +398°C
Limitations : do not use above + 398°C; Do not use on oxygen services.
Appearance : black fibrous material in J sticks or plugs
Injection characteristics : must be applied with a high pressure sealing/lubricating gun; flowas well at filling pressure of approx. 62bar
Cure : non-curing
Long-term changes : no long-term changes during operation; used as permanent packing; it can be supplemented if necessary
Storage : in a dry place at room temperature
Shelf life : 2 years
Packaging : 3.5cm x 21.6cm J sticks or 1.9cm x 10.1cm plugs
The sealant is suitable only for industrial use by trained personnel according to the local regulations and employer requirements. Some chemical additives contained in steam or boiler feed water may prevent curing of the sealant.
