Check Seal™ 9R is a viscous, thermally activated liquid resin that cures when exposed to heat to form a very hard, solid sealant, blocking leak paths. As it begins to cure, it forms a chemically resistant, insoluble solid that is very effective when applied in threads and gasket at temperatures up to +343°C and with added fibers can be applied at temperatures up to +816°C.
Resin is used in a wide variety of industrial applications, including sealing threaded pipe joints or tool joints, gaskets, equipment joints and flanges.
Applications : steam, boiler feed water, acids, alkalis, ammonia, hydraulic fluids, hydrocarbons, refrigerants and propane
CAUTION : Some of the adhesives in the steam and boiler feed water can kill the cure.

The sealant is suitable only for industrial use by trained personnel according to the local regulations and employer requirements. Some chemical additives contained in steam or boiler feed water may prevent curing of the sealant.
