Check Seal™ RPG is a black, fibrous, graphite based packing/sealant. It is a non-curing, pumpable (injectable) valve packing that is durable and designed for extreme temperatures and pressures. It is specifically designed for high temperature service on valves, flanges, and enclosures and is pumpable with a high pressure lubrication hand gun (69MPa).
Applications : glycols, hydrocarbons, water, steam, boiler feed water and many solvents; good general use for sealing valve packing at high temperatures

Temperature range : from -6 ° C to + 648°C
Limitations : do not use above + 649°C; Do not use on oxygen services.

Injection characteristics : must be applied with a high-pressure sealing/lubricating gun; flows well at a filling pressure of approx. 62bar

Long-term changes : no long-term changes during operation

The sealant is suitable only for industrial use by trained personnel according to the local regulations and employer requirements. The application suitability of the material use for a particular chemical composition of the medium is given in the compatibility chart eventually in chemical resistance tables for respective material. Some chemical additives contained in steam or boiler feed water may prevent curing of the sealant.
