Integrated management system policy of SEPS, a.s.

SEPS, a.s. is a company with primary mission to provide safe and reliable solutions for inspection, maintenance and repairs of in-service pipelines and pressure vessels, to be a knowledge centre and innovative partner providing also high quality non-standard solutions with above-standard OSH and environmental protection.

The company's main objective is long-term satisfaction of its customers and parties involved, achieved by meeting their requirements and expectations.

Since we perform our activities under challenging and complex conditions of in-service systems, and often under conditions that may also cause harm to health, property, and the environment, we are committed to implement this policy of an integrated management system according to the standards:

EN ISO 9001, EN ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, SCC** 2008/5.1 a EN ISO 3834-2,

and to allocate the necessary means and resources for its fulfilment, efficiently use the business processes to create efficient and safe procedures, and to create the appropriate conditions for its implementation.

This policy is binding for all of the company's employees, suppliers and co-operating business partners.

As the management and the employees, we commit ourselves to continuously improve our established integrated management system in compliance with the standards, and to meet the requirements of quality and safety. Given the nature of our products and services, our philosophy is based in so-called "flawless approach". During execution of our works or delivering of our products, we cannot afford any mistakes and, therefore, we are constantly seeking opportunities for continuous raise of our quality and safety standards with respect to our employees, partners, customers, and the environment.
With the quality of our products and services, we commit ourselves to continuous achieving of our customers' satisfaction with addressing their problems or concerns, and increasing their trust and satisfaction. Through management of individual technological processes, suppliers and business partners, we provide efficient solutions with high added value and benefits for the customer in the area of reducing risk of possible financial loss caused by a potential shut-down of the production process or supply of a product transported by the pipeline.
By collaboration based on correct, open, long-term and mutually effective business relationships we help operators of pipelines, tanks, pressure vessels and equipment to achieve their goals and contribute to the safety and reliability of their operations.
With our suppliers and partners, we communicate consistently about standards and quality objectives and we expect them to be committed to the same level of quality and safety and to maintain this commitment. We only work with dependable partners who consistently and effectively meet our requirements and expectations, agree with our quality policy, accept its commitments and undertake to comply with them
Using the expertise and experience gained over the past few decades and by consistently applying new trends in the field of diagnostics, repair and maintenance of pipeline systems, we increase the technical level, quality and security of product and service delivery and minimise any losses in terms of time and costs in accordance with customer requirements with respect to compliance with the standards and legislative rules concerning, in particular, OSH and environmental protection.
We consistently monitor and apply all environmental, occupational health- and safety-related policies, arising from customer requirements, legislation, and internal regulations. We focus on meeting these requirements and exercising control over them when implementing the individual activities. Every employee is fully responsible for compliance with binding rules, principles, standards, and legislative conditions, and for observing established quality and safety standards, and for their continuous improvement.
In all processes, activities and products provided by the company we implement a strategy of continuous improvement based on risk-based thinking and exploiting the potential of emerging opportunities in order to improve quality, the level of OSH, and environmental protection. In our work we prefer the principle of risk management and prevention rather than the principle of discovering discrepancies and non-conformities.
By providing training to our employees we develop their professional growth. We motivate our employees in an appropriate manner and support teamwork. We consider these major factors to be crucial for the company's successful and long-term growth. Every employee is aware of his or her obligation to perform properly, responsibly and safely all activities and processes related to product delivery or service implementation, ensuring the high quality and safety of the products and services provided by the company.
We maintain and continually develop communication with customers, suppliers, employees and external collaborators, and we receive their comments and suggestions for continuous improvement in all areas. We are introducing measures aimed at minimising any potentially adverse impacts of our processes on the environment and workers' health, identifying and managing risks and environmental aspects.
We regularly measure and evaluate the efficiency and performance of our processes in the area of quality, safety and, above all, the satisfaction of our customers, business partners and other parties involved. We analyse the results of evaluations thoroughly and use them to innovate our processes, products, and services.
Our integrated management system is fully compliant with international standards and is regularly verified not only by independent external accredited organisations but also by key customers and business partners.

Occupational safety, health and environmental policy of SEPS, a.s.

In addition, under its occupational health, safety and environmental policy, SEPS, a. s. has made the following commitments:

To increase the awareness of employees, external providers (suppliers) and business partners in the area of occupational health and safety and environmental protection through continuous education. The company communicates about the awareness of every employee, supplier and business partner for their own health, for co-workers' health and environmental protection, by internal and external communications in the field of occupational safety and health and the environmental protection.
To protect the environment, including pollution prevention, to protect ecosystems while performing the company's activities, and to continually improve the environmental management system with the goal of improving the environmental behaviour of the company's employees, suppliers and business partners.
To constantly improve the level of occupational safety and health protection management with the goal of reducing potential health threats due to technological processes, procedures, technical facilities, human activity, and the working environment.
To ensure regular professional preparation, employee training and awareness raising about OSH and environmental principles, and to educate towards creating safe work practices.
While performing operations, create a safe and seharden work environment for the company's employees as well as for cooperating partners, customers, and third parties.
To comply with legal and other requirements, to enforce occupational safety and health in order to prevent incidents, accidents at work, occupational diseases, or health damage.
To perform tasks in the area of occupational safety and health protection care, to inform employees about the state of health protection and safety, to create the necessary technical, organisational, financial and personnel prerequisites for a safe working environment, to discuss and to allow employees to comment on the issues concerned.
To issue rules and guidelines to ensure occupational safety and health and protection of the environment in accordance with legislative requirements and current standards, thereby creating a framework for identifying and reviewing the subject of occupational safety and health and environment, documenting, implementing and maintaining OSH and environmental protection requirements for product delivery or service implementation.
To create working conditions aimed at eliminating any potential health risks at workplaces, and based on identified dangers, threats and risks to ensure health surveillance at regular intervals, taking into account the nature of the employees' work.
To verify compliance with relevant legal and other regulations to ensure occupational safety, health and environmental protection and require those from employees, suppliers, and business partners. To create appropriate conditions for occupational safety, health and environmental protection for collaboration with suppliers and business partners.
To plan and provide for adequate material and financial resources in order to ensure safety, health protection and the environment protection. To provide free-of-charge personal protective equipment designed to prevent work-related injuries and diseases, and to require compliance with their use.
To adhere to the rules of prevention of injuries and damage to health, to constantly improve the management and performance of OSH processes, to ensure adequacy with regard to the nature and extent of health and safety risks in the organisation.
